UACPRG

Univesity of Alberta Computer Poker Research Group (UACPRG) is a game theory group in the University of Alberta that drives the university research of poker in the last decade. Among many different pokerbots, UACPRG group developed Poki and Polaris. They are also the organizers of the annual AAAI computer poker competition.
On the question "What you guys are doing, and why?", the answer given was: "The goal of the University of Alberta Computer Poker Research Group is to create a computer program that plays poker better than any human being. We will have to solve many interesting computer science problems along the way."
